The Experience
A Place Where the Ocean Sets the Pace
Mornings start with coffee on the deck and the sound of waves on the reef. By eight, you're on the boat — a small group, your guide, and the Pantar Strait stretching out ahead. The dive sites are minutes away. The reefs are empty. The visibility is absurd.
Between dives, you surface to volcanoes on the horizon and water so blue it doesn't look real. Lunch is served family-style — fresh fish, local spices, stories from the morning's encounters. Afternoons are yours: the house reef, the infinity pool, or a hammock under the palms.
By evening, the sun drops behind Pantar Island and the sky turns gold. Dinner is communal, unhurried, and usually ends with plans for tomorrow's dives. This isn't a resort that tries to be everything. It's a place built around diving, designed for people who love the ocean, and run by a family who calls Alor home.

Diving from Moko Alor
Moko sits on the north coast of Alor, with the Pantar Strait right on your doorstep. Most dive sites are five to twenty-five minutes by boat. We run two to three boat dives per day plus unlimited house reef access — with a maximum of four divers per guide.
Three Dedicated Boats
Purpose-built dive boats with sundecks, tank racks, camera tables, and rinse buckets. Fast, comfortable, and set up for photographers.
Nitrox Available
EANx for certified divers, extending bottom time across multiple dives per day — especially valuable on the deeper wall sites.
Camera Room
A dedicated space with charging stations, workbenches, air blowers, and rinse tanks. Review shots between dives, prep gear overnight.
House Reef
Step off the beach onto a sloping reef alive with turtles, cuttlefish, nudibranchs, and schooling fish. Ideal for afternoon and night dives.
PADI Courses
Our dive centre is a certified PADI resort offering courses from Discover Scuba Diving through to Divemaster, plus specialties including Nitrox, Deep Diver, and Underwater Photography.

Dine at Moko Alor
The restaurant is the social heart of the resort. Guests gather around a shared table each evening to swap dive stories over hearty, home-cooked meals — fresh local fish, Indonesian favourites, and international comfort food, all made with ingredients sourced from Alor.

Meals are served communally. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included with all packages — generous, varied, and always freshly prepared.
